Who is Peter Rabbit?
He's the bunny that needs no introduction! But just in case you haven’t heard of the treasured Beatrix Potter character, here’s a quick run down. Peter Rabbit is a fictional character created by writer and illustrator Beatrix Potter in 1902. She wrote many tales, but the ones about mischievous Peter Rabbit and his friends really captured the imaginations of adults and children. His tales have been turned into cartoons, CGI animations and he’s made it on to the big screen too! Peter Rabbit is such a beloved character he even made it to the Royal Mint with limited edition Beatrix Potter coins.
2022 marks 120 years since the Tale of Peter Rabbit was first officially published, so furn. couldn’t resist bringing him on to some of our bedding, throws and cushions – so you can take beautiful Peter Rabbit home décor into your own home.
Classic Peter Rabbit™.
Our inspiration for this design started with looking back to our childhoods, drawing on what is quintessential about the books and their beautiful, elegant style. You can’t help but be pulled right back to the heart of the classic Peter Rabbit tale as soon as you see his little whiskers and trademark blue jacket. The illustrations are taken from the original books and interwoven with carefully selected modern silhouettes of flora and fauna to enhance a rich and enchanting landscape.
"When I was little there used to be rabbits in my grandpa’s vegetable patch, nibbling at his cabbages and carrot tops. Designing this print took me back to spotting their little cotton tails as I ran out to see them," – Bronte, furn. Designer.

Spot Me.
Spot Me is a design that plays on Peter’s mischievous nature. We see him bounce from one hiding place to the next – even stopping for a nap in one spot! The classic illustrations are recaptured as line drawings with remarkable clarity and a fresh appeal in this stripped back neutral colour palette. This monochrome scandi-inspired range is subtle yet sweet and perfect for a modern interior.
"I really wanted to capture Peter's playful character, but also give him a contemporary twist, hopping in and out of rabbit holes avoiding the infamous Mr McGregor," – Rea, Studio Manager.

Scandi Woods.
Cosy, cosy, cosy! Scandi Woods is all about snuggling in and enjoying Peter’s journey around the forest. In his trademark blue jacket, Peter has an adventure in an autumn woodland, radishes in tow. He even has a quick snooze under a tree. In the original tale, the family make their home in a big fir tree, and we’ve updated it here in these stylised drawings. Quirky and cute, the two styles marry together to create a fun fluffy bed set like no other.
"I designed Scandi Woods with my niece and nephew in mind. I wanted it to feel playful but cosy, with Peter showing his adventurous side finding his way around the woodland," – Phoebe, furn. Designer.

A colourful confetti-covered set, created to bring a cheeky Peter Rabbit to your home in joyous contemporary colour. Peter is jumping from rabbit hole to rabbit hole amidst a sea of confetti spots. Shades of lilac and mint on a ground of ochre mean that this mischievous character is keeping up with key colour trends. We are dotty for this spotty pattern!
"I wanted to give Peter a fun, colourful twist. I thought of Peter having a party with his friends so I used a bright multi-coloured polka dot to convey confetti," – Rea, Studio Manager.

Nowhere is there a cosier, happier bunny than here. Snuggling down to rest after a hard day exploring out and about, Peter features amongst clouds and stars in a night sky. Each of the three colourways are vibrant and fresh – pink, blue and ochre. Turn the duvet over to see Peter snoozing between the stripes on the reverse.

This collection uses stunning watercolour florals to evoke a whimsical world featuring our favourite furry friend. It conjures an English country garden in full bloom, creating visions of Peter Rabbit roaming in Beatrix Potter's own garden in the Lake District. This is a design that will sit beautifully in a range of home décor styles, from mid-century modern to maximalist to traditional country.
"When I first visited Beatrix Potter’s house it was a gorgeous sunny day in late spring and the garden was filled with beautiful bright flowers. It felt magical and I could picture Peter nestled in the flower beds and hopping along the path," – Bronte, furn. Designer.
