Knitted throws FAQs 

Can you wash a knitted throw blanket? 

Most of our throws and blankets are easy-care and fully machine washable, because we know that spills, splashes and stains are just a part of life! Make sure to check specific cleaning guidelines on each individual product page, or carefully read the care label on your throw blanket. Our woven blankets will do best in a cold machine wash on a delicate cycle. Some of our synthetic options are spot-clean only, but will respond well to a quick scrub and soak with some light detergent, so it's important to pay attention to the care label on your knitted throw!

We advise against ironing or tumble drying your knit blanket, as you could cause damage or loss of quality to the woven yarns. Air drying on a clothesline is the safest and most effective way to dry knits, and it’s a great eco-friendly alternative to using a tumble dryer. 

How to style a knit throw blanket 

Irresistibly cosy, perfect for layering, refreshingly lightweight and wrinkle-resistant, they are an ideal fit with many interior styles. How you choose to store or display your throw will make all the difference when it comes to style, so have a think about what kind of look you’re going for.  

Fold your throw in half and drape it over the back of your sofa for a lived-in look that’s effortlessly stylish. For bed throws, do the same fold and drape over the foot or corner of your bed. It’ll look stylishly scattered and give your space a chic laid-back vibe. 

If you prefer a more polished look, fold your sofa throw lengthwise into thirds and pop it on the arm of your sofa.
