Our readymade yellow blinds are all blackout. The blackout feature is created using the ‘three pass’ process, which means that the blind fabric is backed with foam and then coated with two layers of opaque membrane. Once it’s complete, no speck of light can pass through.

However, depending on how you fit it, light will be able to come in around the edge of the blind. To minimise this, fit your blind on the outside of your window’s recess. If you prefer to layer your blind with blackout curtains, fit it inside the recess for a neat look.

The same process that makes our blinds blackout also gives them thermal properties. They won’t let heat through either, which can help you save energy and reduce bills. You’ll find that the blinds will keep heat in during the winter and keep it out during the summer.
